Because until the vaccine is proven properly effective and until everyone has been vaccinated, you guys really desperately need to slow the spread of this shit.
The vaccine isn't an instant switch. You can still be a carrier even when vaccinated and infect others, the idea is to protect you. It's going to take time to vaccinate 300+ million people.
