Image poster here. The first part of the description should read: "Sydney harbour is a flooded river valley."
You could see the stone wharves under Bondi until a storm blew the sand towards the shops and the council then bulldozed it back, this time evenly and everything is covered. Wait a few decades, as the incline under the waves is quite steep, and it will collapse, exposing them again.
