I can find precisely one source of the above picture, which I wouldn't trust as far as I can throw it. Incidentally, they're not on a stage, they're not on the grid, they appear to be walking around on the grass. They look like people dressed up and attending the event in the same way as the thousands I saw wearing Ferrari shirts, who are as endorsed by the Grand Prix association as I suspect those "drag queens" are.

The grid girls were replaced by kids representing karting and motorsports clubs, girls and boys. Yes, I think that's infinitely more appropriate than grid girls, not that I have any issue with them.

Either way I don't understand why the whole world is looking to find offence in everything. Who gives a fuck even if it is real?
