I'm betting that final straw would be when the folks who write in red crayon (we're no longer talking about states so much as people, but there are states that lean in a direction) do more than wave around their junk, er, guns and start actively proving that thing they keep chanting, as was done in the 1860s, that they're traitors to America and discover the consequences. I mean, January 6 should have tipped some people off that they were on the wrong track, but as the saying goes -- you don't learn anything the second time the donkey kicks you.
