I'd say because they claim so adamantly to be against racism while actually
being some of it's biggest promoters for personal profit, a fundamental lack of
honesty.
jgoins Report This Comment Date: March 08, 2014 12:47PM
The reason Quasi posted and the fact that so many of them think I owe them
something for slavery. I never owned a slave in my life and I doubt any of my
ancestors ever did either unless one of them was richer than I think they were.
None of the blacks living today were ever owned either. I will get over my
racism when they get over slavery.
Paul Revere Report This Comment Date: March 08, 2014 04:04PM
Blacks do a very good job at keeping racism alive. They don't know facts on
slavery like only 1.6% of whites owned slaves, and that most slaves were sent to
South America... And more importantly, they blame every White, even though
Eastern Europeans had nothing to do with the salve trade. Either they're really
as dumb as they look, or they want hand outs, but I hear blacks talking about
how bad Whites are more than anyone, when we've done more to help them advance
and get out of their primitive culture than anyone else and yet they're so
unappreciative. This is why I stay a racist. I'm tired of hearing them complain.
BlahX3 Report This Comment Date: March 08, 2014 08:01PM
Yeah, that's the solution, fight racism with more racism. Boy howdy, that'll

What are we supposed to do??? We're trying to help these jungle apes evolve, but
they keep blaming Whites for everything.
They have more opportunity than ever, but still all they think about is getting
high and chasing women around all day.
Then when they wake up, and they're 40 years old with nothing going for them,
then they blame the whites who have been establishing themselves in society.
It's the apes that have to move forward.

If we white people end all our racism and the blacks don't then we will have
hell to pay. It will then be us who are slaves to the blacks, giving them
everything and nothing left for us. A very real race way may not be too far off
in the future, thank you Odamna.
BlahX3 Report This Comment Date: March 09, 2014 02:12PM
What are we supposed to do? How about grow up for starters, then maybe we can
evolve beyond the bullshit. Instead you blame your racism on other racists.
That's not a justification, that's called hypocrisy. If it's wrong for them to
do it then it's wrong for you to as well.
jgoins Report This Comment Date: March 10, 2014 12:54PM
It may be wrong for me to do it, but I was raised this way and I will continue

their illegal entry into the US.
BlahX3 Report This Comment Date: March 10, 2014 05:44PM
Yeah, you're wrong. You're also stupid. If you think you have an out because
you were "raised that way" then what about everyone else who was
"raised that way"? Maybe the Mexicans were "raised that

places to put people who were "raised that way" which are separate
from the rest of society for a reason.
jgoins Report This Comment Date: March 11, 2014 12:37PM
Yes I was raised that way but I don't go around killing people or sneaking into
a country illegally or trying to make people pay me for shit that happened to my

way I do, at least not to their face. At least I admit what I am which is more
than most people will do.
BlahX3 Report This Comment Date: March 11, 2014 01:23PM
I call you stupid because you try to use stupid reasons to justify the simple
fact that you prejudge people based on their race, which is something that has
no justification whatsoever. You are part of the problem, your attitude
perpetuates the racism in both directions and you are too stupid to see that. If
you kept your mouth shut about it instead of bragging about it perhaps you
wouldn't be called stupid so often. In simple terms, don't do (or say) stupid
things that cause others to say you're stupid. If you're racist and can't/won't
change then keep it to yourself and keep it YOUR problem.
jgoins Report This Comment Date: March 12, 2014 12:31PM
Then I would be a closet racist just like so many others black and white
together. too many people try to hide their true nature I am not one of them.
I might judge others because of their skin color but when they show me they
don't act like the n word then I consider them normal. I have known some blacks
who don't act like the world owes them something and don't talk like the rest so
they are normal humans. I have also known some whites I would call the n word
as well and have called them the n word to their faces. It is not my fault that
most who act like it are black so basically it's not the color of their skin so
much as their attitude.

Which brings us back around to the honesty factor. Honesty is better, even if
it's different from what we believe - everyone knows where they stand.
Manipulation of others by means of claiming to be one thing while actually being
another perpetuates the problem just as much if not more than actually being
honest, even if those honest beliefs are wrong.

Between all the doublespeak, newspeak and PC speech bein swung around these
days you couldn find a lotta honesty with a gaggle of dead cats in
assistance.
Was runnin a rebuild facilty one time and was given a choice by the companys
owner between 2 former longtime Heidelberg mechs to come in for a few months and
help train our crew. My choice was almost instantaneous and my boss said
"Are you sure you want Todd? He's cantankerous, opinionated, hard to get
along with and very direct."
My response was "Absolutely! He's everything you say, balanced with
extremely knowledgeable, patient and a great teacher, and ..... no matter what,
you never hafta wonder where you stand with him."
Todd and I wound up bein great friends for 10 years until his death a lil over
5yrs ago and I count that old man as one of the best friends/mentors I ever had.
If you ever wondered what he thought about anything, all you had to do was ask,
'cause he'd damned well shoot ya the straight skinny without battin an eye, even
when he knew it might be hard to swallow.
What a shame that so much of our communication is spent doin that silly verbal
dance where we speak all around what needs to be said instead of just bein
forthright about it and sayin what's really in our thoughts.
The simple concept of "say what you mean and mean what you say" would
lead to much simpler and productive communications

On a recent job application I listed honesty as both one of my strengths and
one of my weaknesses. I've only been fired once, from a job I'd had for over ten
years, because I was too honest for the company owner's fake born again
Christian taste. My customers loved me for it, had a lot of repeat business and
requests for my assistance because of it, and it took one bozo who walked in
ranting and wouldn't stop to cost me my job, even though we agreed to cool off
and try again later. It really went back to a time when I wouldn't endorse or
recommend a substandard product a couple of years before, a product I was told
was a "cash cow" which was true for awhile, at the expense of our
customers and, through warranty claims, eventually our company and the
manufacturer. I made waves and they weren't forgotten when an opportunity to cut
payroll at MY expense presented itself at the height of the recession.

Thank you Mr Kim and Quasi, I am glad there are still some on here who will
always be honest even if it doesn't agree with me. I used to lie all the time
but over the years I found it is easier to tell the truth. Ask my wife, she
always knows which pants make her butt look fat. I know there are some who
aren't racist but I suspect there are more who are but are just hiding it. I
will never hide mine unless it is illegal. I have loosened my racism somewhat
with the more blacks I meet who aren't typical "you owe me for
slavery". I will probably never allow a different race in my family, not
because of the skin color but because of the different culture involved.

compartments and judging me based upon your (mistaken) assumptions about me.
I am exercising my freedom of speech too. As I have REPEATEDLY stated, I do not
entertain any notions of being able to change anyone else in any way, but I can
still speak my mind. I am not about to make any apologies for my view that
racism is stupidity and if I feel like stating that then I will, just as you and

comments he desires and I am equally free to rebut them and call them as I see

You are indeed free to say anything you wish but you credibility when you star
calling names when the other person didn't call you names. Name calling and
insults are never they way to go if you want to be taken seriously. Just
because a person believes differently than you do does not mean they are stupid.
You will hardly ever see me call anyone on here names. I don't use name
calling because I am too mature for that and it is clear to see that some on
here haven't grown up enough.
BlahX3 Report This Comment Date: March 16, 2014 07:55PM
You may notice that you are the only one here that I come right out and say
you're stupid to. There's a reason for that. It is because you continually prove
how stupid you are in your comments. It isn't really a matter of me calling you
names, rather me calling it what I see it as. It is so blatantly obvious that
you say stupid things so often and it surprises me that most of the others here
just seem to put up with it or ignore it and say nothing. I feel somewhat of a
social obligation to point it out. I am not trying to insult you, just
"pointing out the elephant in the room" almost everyone else is
ignoring here. I know of no other method of telling you that you are being
stupid without saying it bluntly.
I am glad that you have managed to quell some of your racism over time. That's
good thing. However it is still stupid to fall back on the old cliche excuses
for being racist and keep clinging to them as some sort of justification. There
is no justification for any of it. It is just plain wrong and false. You know
that a person's potential has nothing to do with race and have said as much. So
let the whole thing go and be bigger than that. As long as racists keep clinging
to their prejudice on either side the problem will continue on. Outgrow how you
were raised and look at reality.

better than blacks are accepted in ours.
Out of all the races there is only one that I have ever had the desire to see

Used to work with a black dude from Nigeria who gave me a cuppla interesting
perspectives on America, working and blacks.
He'd been here about 4yrs at the time, worked full time at night, was goin to
college carryin almost a full load during the day and was a pretty sharp dude.
Though 20 yrs my junior he'd been to many more places in the world than I had
and I found him a friendly and interesting person to talk to.
He told me he loved America for many reasons and haddn completely decided if
he'd ever return to his native Nigeria to live. What he told me was the
attraction here was more than just the comparative quality of life, but the
American people and their spirit that was his main attraction.
One night we were talkin about work and he said somethin that really floored me
when he said "You Americans work hard, in fact you work harder than any
other people I've ever seen!". In honesty I'd never given that idea any
thought, after all, having grown up here it seemed to me we just do what we do.
He said "You Americans work more hours to provide for your families, accept
the idea of working overtime as a way to work even harder to get ahead and I
really respect that about your culture".
Another night he related how little he felt in common with blacks here and that
he had no black American friends, which really raised my curiosity, so I asked
what he meant by that?
He said most all the blacks he'd met here, and most especially the younger ones,
had no respect for themselves or each other, nor seemingly for anyone else
either. He told me they were coarse, crude, lazy, seemed very spiteful of each
other, but most especially white people and seemed to feel as if they were
entitled to a living and most everything life here had to offer here, yet had no
desire to work to achieve these things, that they felt as if they were somehow
owed them, which he said he had no way of understanding as they didn seem to fit
into the model of American society as he understood it.
He said when other blacks he met would call him "brother, bro or brother
man" he found that offensive as they certainly weren't his brothers and
that essentially the only thing they really shared was the color of their skin

BlahX3 Report This Comment Date: March 20, 2014 06:49PM
I don't see the possibility of that happening JG. The only people causing
racial problems are racists. The majority of Americans aren't racist and they
aren't going to participate in your imagined "race war" no matter how
you spin it.
Kim, I have similar experiences with native African people. Those experiences
reinforce my conviction that a person's potential has nothing to do with their
race. Good people are good people. Bad people are bad people. Obviously race has
nothing to do with it.
jgoins Report This Comment Date: March 21, 2014 12:07PM
But racists are in every race and it appears to me more blacks are more racist
than whites. If a race war to ignite it doesn't matter if racists are the ones
fighting whites will kill everything black and blacks will kill everything white
and it won't matter to any of them if their target is carrying a gun or not. So
unless you live on a deserted island somewhere you will become involved.
I am glad to see that some blacks do see that most others believe they are owed
a living but until all of them see they aren't owed anything there will always
be racism. I have never owned slaves and I doubt any of my ancestors ever did
either, so I don't believe I owe them a thing.
BlahX3 Report This Comment Date: March 21, 2014 01:18PM
You're going to see what you look for JG. You are already racially biased so
naturally you are going to notice things to reinforce your attitude more so than
the opposite. There is no doubt that racism exists within all races. If the goal
is to get beyond racism then the logical thing to do is to reinforce the
attitude of being non-racist among all people. Complaining about your perception
that blacks are more racist than whites (which I disagree with and also disagree
with the opposite view) only serves to perpetuate the very thing you are
bitching about. As long as you continue to put your focus on who is more racist
then you are exacerbating the problem and you bring yourself down to the same
level as the racist blacks you complain about. In turn, you get black racists
with reinforced racist attitudes towards you. It's vicious cycle. Forget about
all that bullshit and start treating people like people regardless of race.
jgoins Report This Comment Date: March 22, 2014 11:43AM
As long as blacks continue to think we owe them a living I am going to continue
to object. If they will get out and make a living without affirmative action
then I can put aside my racism. They have the same opportunities white do but
they do not avail themselves of it.
BlahX3 Report This Comment Date: March 22, 2014 02:05PM
I don't think that you understand what I have said. Nothing is going to change
as long as racists hold to their attitudes on BOTH sides. There are just as many
whites with "the world owes me a living" attitude too. In order to get
beyond and eliminate racial tension we are all going to have to let go of the
past and move on.
jgoins Report This Comment Date: March 23, 2014 11:42AM
Maybe people can let go of the past if the media and the government can drop
the slavery issue and let it just be forgotten. As long as everyone is reminded
about slavery in the past there will be those who think they are owed something
for it and as long as the government keeps handing out rights and money to
blacks for the past then whites will continue to think they should be given
something as well. Equality is one thing but when equality goes to far to one
side then it is just wrong and not equal. What we have is a Mexican standoff,
no one can put down their gun first because the other will shoot them.

as the "defense" of beliefs, along with the "justification"
(for the lack of a better word) for people's thinking on racism. here multiple
times.
people are not born prejudice, they are taught to be by a multitude of differing
factors. the problem is in the mindset of the past, and the utter disregard of
the consequences of future encounters.
there are a percentage of black people that feel "entitled" to someone
else's stuff just because they are black. the logic in this is flawed beyond
belief because the same people think that they are entitled (and old groin is
partially correct) because of a historical persecution of black people by white
people (of many nationalities).
the main problem (i think) is the source that people are quoting as historical
gospel, and not the COMPLETE story. it's nothing more than a tool to help keep
the "sheep" fighting amongst themselves.
i think i might have said. "insert same old Fossil comment here"
