I'm italian...what i find more disgusting is that Italy paid big money to set
her free, the guy that got killed had actually to just pick her up and drive her
to the airport. He got killed and now they want him to pass as a national
hero.
It is a double defeat for the italian GVT. This just shows who our master is.

I didn't write that he is a hero, however he protected her with his body, thus
he gave his life, which is a noble act, isn't it?
However the point is that our idiotic master should do the possible to obtain
justice and respect from USA, but I doubt he is going to do it, because for him
it is more important to lick Bush's ass!

Of course. Cnn can't pass up a chance to do anything to discredit anyone
offering up different opinions from those of the government. I'm curious, if the
Italians did pay a ransom, they would have most likely told the U.S. what was
going on to keep something like this from happening. The U.S. would have then
known, which means either they didn't want her to get away, or the troops at the
patrol/checkpoint/whatever were incompetent and fired without checking to see
what they were shooting at.

i only say this because i love how instantly the americans are lying about them
not stopping at the checkpoint. no investigation or anything. they said her
vehicle sped up and woudlnt stop so they fired. she says thats not true. so to
the world she is right.

America should have learned by now,don't feed snakes (foreign countries)they
take your money then either hate you for having more than they have or take the

You all are forgetting that it is not only Sgrena who is saying that the first
american version was wrong, but it was also the soldier who was with her, and
don't forget that they were talking at the telephone with our governent when
they were shooted, which is another source that seems to confirm the italian
version.
By know however we do not have more informations, in fact also Sgrena in her
article stated that she couldn't tell more because of the ongoing investigation.

The yanks cannot tolerate independence from their fantasy of world rule. The
Italians did not use any yank channels (nor brief the yanks on what was
happening), so they shot them as punishment. Now it's all coming back to bite.
