Actually what you see is an image of what people think christ looked like, his first image wasn't made untill about a thousand years after he supposedly lived. People are just brain-washed into thinking this is god.

it is nice to have faith just as it is great to have liberty of speech and believes so why critize another for something he believes. Also he is right most of the scriptions from the Bible and other religious artifacts have always been documents hundred of years laters very rarely have they been written about on the spot. just something to think about and not judge.

but you can't judge the people that do...providing that those people aren't trying to force their beliefs on someone else
for the majority, they cannot live without believing in something
it would kill them to know the truth

Anonymous@174105: Think about what life may have been like in the middle east in the year 20AD. How many Jewish caucasians were wandering around then? How likely is it that a white man would have been accepted and followed as a preacher and a prophet by the arab populations back then?

Jesus was an arab kids. Painting him as a caucasian was done much later to appeal to european audiences. How many whites in 500 AD would follow an arab teaching? Some, sure, but not the masses, which is who the church wanted to control.
