Deffinately,There are 4 smaller books that compliment and give more incite on
Bruces training and actual self defence.Plus actual footwork diagrams people
forget how important it is but just try out a boxer at the local ring

.

Bruce was able to break tradition and take aspects of several studies and
combine them to one purpose.Fencing,western boxing,wing chun,grapling.Applying
the human physiology involved in boxing, the defence and low kicks and leg
attacks of wing chun, and the lunge in fencing to attacks. The ready stance is
awesome in itself how you are poised like a cat ready to strike at any moment
and the parry instead of blocks leaving yourself open to use both hands at
once. The man was not only an inspiring martial artist but very, very intelligent
especially when you consider he was in his 30's when he died.
