proud.

i guess if your not coordinated to play golf you would think it's boring, and i
agree that watching golf is pretty low on my list of spectator sports, but the
thrill i experienced yesterday flopping a sand wedge 40 yards over a bunker to a
15 ft. elevated green with 10 ft. of green to work with, hitting it perfectly as
to land in the fringe trickle up and hit the stick leaving it 2 inches away,
will never be forgotten as long as i live!
you can't but that kind of excitement!
and my belts are not shiny toad, they are karate, taekwon do, and kung fu,
fabric. but i understand your ignorance, it shows quite often.

ninja fabric? wow... cool! I bet that you have lots of pics of you jitzuing the
crap out of everyone... or atleast one of you in a gi. I bet everyone would
enjoy that immensely.

forgotten instantly.
fossil_digger Report This Comment Date: March 18, 2006 09:53PM
never heard of ninja fabric. and i don't wear gi's, they're for amateurs trying
to impress. i do not advertise visually, good way to just get shot on the
street. i'd rather someone not know what the deal is.
184225: if you don't understand the sentence then you don't play or enjoy the
game. not a problem easily fixed.
jujitzu is not a style i care for either, kung-fu is much more effective for me.
wing chung is also an interest, but i can tell i'm explainig something to
someone who doesn't have a clue.
now it's your turn for the 3rd grade reaponse..... i can't wait to hear it

Top secret ninja skills... you are smart. Don't let the world see what a bad
ass you are... just tell them on the internet. Wearing a gi is for amateurs
trying to impress???? really??? I guess your teenage mutant ninja turtles pj's
are cooler huh.

on the contrary, it's quite funny to hear how truly incoherant and clueless
someone can be....lmao!

Quote "and my belts are not shiny toad, they are karate, taekwon do, and
kung fu, fabric." ....so you have belts? Quote "i don't wear gi's,
they're for amateurs trying to impress"... I am just asking what you are
wearing when you receive these belts?
fossil_digger Report This Comment Date: March 26, 2006 06:01AM
i don't "wear" belts. my sifu does not believe in belts,
competitions, or exhibitions. his only purpose is to expand his, my, and a few
lucky others mental, physical and spiritual awareness to a level not experienced
by the major percentage of martial artists in the world.
he is a strange character, when he was 3 yrs. old he lost his left arm just
below the elbow. he has a fake arm and hand. he was refused the right of
competing with others because of his "handicap". he has spent his life
studying in china and japan with teachers who feel the same way. he does not
regard belts as anything other than show, but we(the other students) take what
he calls "equivalency belt tests". if we were to take the true tests
we would achieve a higher ranking than we have been given. just because of his
strict perfection.
i work out in what you might call tae boxing equipment.
martial arts belts are fabric, not very shinny.
any more questions?

Golf and kung-fu? Some combo, that! I´m just trying to imagine how to use
kung-fu on the golf couse... or do you use golf clubs and balls in kung-fu
fighting?

fossil_digger Report This Comment Date: March 28, 2006 06:12AM
golf is a very mental game, controlling emotion when you're not playing well,
and keeping a level head to reduce future mistakes. martial arts are also useful
in the simple fact that they increase balance, keep your back strong, and your
swing balanced. i find that my golf swing also carries over to sword play, in
that the need to know exactly where your sword tip is at all times increases
your ability to deliver the most accurate and devastating a blow possible.
there are many different similarities in the 2
do you play zxz? i know as a good Scotsman you have to play, it's in your blood

but i imagine you only have a few months a year to play in Norway........:~}

wrong on the first, right on the second, I don´t and they do.
I see your point about control and that, though. Although I wouldn`t try to win
a sword fight with a golf club, might lose a finger or something.
