If he had been killed immediately then the world would stop trying to combat
terrorism and someone else would take over Al Qaeda and nothing would have
changed. We have had 5 years of destroying and taking apart Al Qaeda to make
them less effective. Bin Ladin will not live forever and as long as he has no
effective organization to bring terror on anyone then he will be powerless until
the day he dies. Like it or not, but as long as he lives people around the
world will continue to fight terrorism.

The ultimate goal of terrorism is to change society in an incremental or
revolutionary way.
Since 9/11, Americans have lost many of their Consitutional freedoms, and the
U.S. government has spent billions of dollars. Tight security measures
interfere with the way people travel. The economy is beginning a downward
spiral. We are losing soldiers every day to insurgents in Iraq (more than 2700
so far, with many more maimed). We are in an intractible war with no way to
"win" (as the presidnet defines "winning"

and no plan to get out of this quagmire. World
attention is focused on the Middle East, and billions of dollars are puring into
the region.
In essence, Osama Bin Laden has achieved what he wanted.

Osama is alive because George Bush needs him alive. Bush has used the fear of
Al Queda to get everything his cold little heart ever desired, from tax cuts to
the wealthy to military occupation of oil rich lands.
He's not going to give that up. There's still money to be made.

Why so down on Bin Laden? CIA Director Bush I hired Bin Laden to fight the
russians in the 80s. He served the CIA and the US well by defeating the
russians.
Do you have any evidence that Bin Laden orchestrated 9-11 ? NO, You don't! This is a Bush II lie. Atta
orchestrated 9-11.
Bin Laden is a former CIA (Bush I) asset that the CIA wants dead for what
happened in the past. Saddam was a CIA (Bush I) asset. There is a theme
here.
President Clinton, who pussied out by acting like a republican, acted the
"kill bin laden" CIA garbage so he made attempts on Bin Ladens life.
If you have ever been a CIA assest, your life is in danger. It's how they clean
up their messes.

Bush only has one more year in office and you people think he will destroy
America in that time. Our economy is good and getting better instead of the
downward spiral that someone with no name stated. You guys spend all your time
talking Bush down instead looking for his replacement in '08. While you are
berating Bush the republican party will slip in a have a candidate ready to be
elected. Spend you time trying to get the democrats to find something to stand
for which the American public can support. Being antibush will not be a good
enough platform to sway the American public, they will have to get something
more substantial to win the election. The Amercan people want someone who will
be strong against terrorism not someone who will treat terrorism only as a
crime.

chickenlittle
Bush started doing damage to the US before he ever became president.
Keep dreaming aout a Repub being president in 09. America is fed up with
republican bullshit.
You have also made the stupid mistake that many republicans have made claiming
that the anti-bush crowd are all dems or represent the ideology of the
democratic party. This is propaganda to get listeners watching or listening for
conservative TV and radio pundits.
Bush claims to be tough on terror yet has not proven that he is.
Unless you consider giving borrowed money from China to US defense
contractors for useless or ineffective technologies tough on terror.
1. Terrorism has gone up after the invasion of
Iraq.
2. Terrorism has gone up against american interests since March of 2003.
3. Invading Iraq has created 2 generations of terrorists.
4. Invading Iraq has angered moderate muslims meaning the US will only get their
support or help when it serves their interests rather than principle.
5. Bin Laden, the man the Bush admin named the mastermind of 9-11, is still at
large.
These facts says Bush is WEAK on
terrorism.
It took 8 years for a major attack on american soil. Bush won't even be in
office anymore to say he made the country safer for 8 years.

Well we only have a few more days to see which way the public is leaning.
Everything you stated cannot be substantiated as fact. They are merely your
beliefs and fortunately you seem to be in the minority. Just check vote.com to
see how the majority of people feel.

You mean, the majority of the people that visit that website, to see how they

Well I saw nothing there which would just bring in people who feel only one
way. It would seem to be a good cross section of people as it also corelates
with what I see around here.

All of the
FACTS I cited above were stated with duplicity by the CIA,
DIA, NSA, and foreign intelligence services.
You may want to deny the reports by these intelligence agencies like the Bush
administration does but it shows that you have lost your grip on reality.
75% of americans believe these same facts before the reports even came out.
You and a minority of fools need to cling to your ideology so badly that
admitting
YOU WERE WRONG would kill
you.
jgoins Report This Comment Date: November 06, 2006 12:56PM
Well if 75 percent of the people really believed that then Bush never would
have been elected. Evidentally the majority of the people didn't believe it.

Nice going dumbass. Every one of the reports came out after the 2004
election.
Take your head out of the sand. Maybe you'll actually know what you are talking
about.
The 06 elections today are the first elections since these reports.
The 06 elections are the first elections since the reports by David Kay found
NO WMDS IN IRAQ!
The american people have not had a chance to show their displeasure with
President Bush until today.
Today marks the day
