I dn't think this is a Lada, I think it is a Trabant. That reminds me of a Lada joke.

You may be right on that one. I Googled 'em both and while they look similar, the Trabant has differences in contours and body shape especially around the roof pillars.


In summary however, both are complete shitboxes.

Due to Russias economic situation, it is difficult for a person of young age to own a car becouse of financail strife. That car is a zaparozhets, owning one there is like owning a a 1988 Honda Civic in north America.
