Even gold and silver are fake. Nothing in itself has intrinsic value.

In this case it is a new twist on the Nigerian scam. They send these out to
people then email them with instructions to cash them, keep 10% and send the
rest to a guy in Nigeria, etc. They look pretty real except the yellow on the
Visa logo is supposed to be gold, the halographic strip doesn't go all the way
across the note on a real one, and the code numbers shown do not coincide with
the dollar amount.
