Interesting yet disturbing factoid....

Most of the sand on many beaches comes from Parrot fish like this one eating coral and excreting out the ground up skeletal remains.

Next time you are on the beach watching your kids build that sand castle (or building one yourself); keep in mind they are playing with fish poop basically
