mercy killings and anyway where would the galaxy's economy be without Darth

Z makes a good point. Whether it is a good guy or bad guy is contextual,
Rebels, terrorists, freedom fighters, revoluntionaries do the same thing. Their
reasons and motivations vary, but whether you love 'em or hate 'em depends on
who you are.
And Fossil... I don't think that DV killed OWK. The force was draining from his
body as they fought. At the moment of the potentially lethal blow, OWK
disappeared. It is well established in law that if there is no body, there is
no crime.
Now, if you take the other episode into consideration, it appears that Anakin
Skywalker harmed many. But that may be the typical historionics used after a
successful revolution to vilify the deposed establishment and justify the
actions taken.
