This was my nephew. He was the kind of soldier you wanted on your side. There were over 600 people at his funeral plus the Patriot Guard.

it's hard to tell for me, but it looks like he's in a tank? or an armoured personnel carrier?

It's an M1117 Guardian Armored Security Vehicle (ASV) ASV-150

I found out from his best bud in Iraq that they were in a lot of fire fights. He was usually the lead vehicle on the convoy.
