I had an old IH Travelall that we hauled R and R equipment with.
Think I got 12 MPG if it was freshly tuned up. What a big, square beast.

With Dad woking for IH when I was a kid we had a succession of two Travelalls
then a crew cab pickup with a slide in camper. My frist daily driver was one of
those square box Travelalls.

My first car in Alaska was a '71 Scout. That thing would drive up a wall, as
long as you had all day to do it. Dropped the front drive shaft out of it going
over a bridge one afternoon. That was pretty exciting. Drove it for almost 2
years after that.
