F-8 Crusader. It was what the A-7 was modeled after. LTV used the basic F-8 airframe and built the A-7 starting with that to meet the Navy's requirement for a light bomber.

I was hoping to fool someone into saying they are more A-7s since they look so much alike and 2 were posted recently.

Dang. Sorry. I should've kept quiet.

They were on the carriers I served on too. The first time I was on the flight deck my buddy had me stand next to him about 30' from the starboard wingtip of an F-8 as it was being rigged up to the cat. Once they had the plane ready on the cat he yelled at me, "Watch this!" The pilot hit the single stage afterburner on that fucker and the shock wave literally knocked me on my ass.
