i've never been a fan of cars of the 50's at all, in fact they are at the bottom of the list for me along with any car this color, lime green, or pink.

I had a car the same as that, same color too. Probably same year. It was a good car and I hated to have to sell it when I did. The fondness I think is because those were the cars of the day when we were little boys.
