Yeah they fired the other one up while I was in the garage. Had an amazing
vantage point for the race, in McLaren's suite just above their pit box.
One of the race engineers took us on a tour through the garage, I met Fernando
Alonso (which if you know anything about F1 you'll know who he is), and drank so
much I had the worst hangover I've had in years yesterday.
Got some awesome pics and I'll work through them and upload a couple of the
best. Proper money can't buy day with the sponsors.

I was at the track, but on the grass in the sun, not living it up in the lap of
luxury in a sponsor's corporate box. I wish I was though. Would have been
awesome, especially meeting Alonso.

I did it again this year; back in the McLaren suite, got even better pics this
year. The event was better too, since McLaren weren't so shit, the team was
generally a lot more upbeat.
Spent some time in the garage during practise with the engineer's headsets on,
could hear the full communication back to the pit wall etc (it's amazing how
much the drivers talk / get spoken to), including them telling Alonso to come in
because they thought his engine was about to catch fire.
It was a really good event. Very lucky to be sitting with sponsors in the team
suite, we obviously do a lot of business with them
