Yeah but an axe with a broken handle is useless. Much more sensible to have an easily replaceable head.

This is not entirely useless. It's functional for things that are softer than the wood, such as cheese or a tree which is a softer wood than what was used for the bit.
And you have to admit, a wood-bitted axe would still do heavy damage to a human.

The websites used to be hosted in Florida. Ran from Miami for probably 10-15 years.

No longer though.
