I'd say a murderer.

I don't agree with most of the climate protests (whilst often I do agree with their message); I frankly think you should be tortured for destroying artworks etc. But it's not my place to do it.

Oh yeah, he's a murderer and nobody is going to give him a free pass.
He's going to get maximum gaol-time in a Panamanian prison.

He's a hero because he obviously knew this to be his own fate but chose to make a stand.
