Ah, good ol' CP/M. Geez, Digital managed to screw that pooch with IBM.

Ignoring the operating system, that entire hard drive could store this 1 image.

Showing my age, but a friend at university upgraded his Apple Mac from 20MB to 40MB. We thought he was an idiot, as he'd never fill it.

One image from my camera can be over 40MB now.

The Apple IIe's in my early high school IT class didn't have hard drives. Nor did the IBM XTs in my primary school.

Boot disk, dual floppies if you're lucky. Ought to be enough for anyone.

All right then, we'll go back to reading books.

Come to think of it, a group of us thought a friend was mad to spend $4000 upgrading his computer so it could print in three colours. That was 1988 or '89. It was so he could print a better newsletter. That he wasn't paid for.
