My adopted son found out he has a large amount of Scottish DNA. His wife and I tried to get him to wear a kilt but the chickenshit won't do it. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Along with my then roommate and my brother-in-law I once dressed up as a female cheerleader, complete with pompoms, for a student vs. faculty basketball game at the community college where we worked and attended. My beard made it believable. Does that count?

Quasi I would never do such a thing. If, when I was young, I was mad enough to do that, I wouldn't admit it now.

I once came up with a more subtle, low profile scheme: put it out I was dead and arrive at the funeral... trouble was, I couldn't recruit anyone to go along with it. They kept asking how I would live it down. I was 17 at the time and didn't think I had to.

I was 18 or 19 and we were fans of Monty Python's Flying Circus so it was the most natural thing in the world to do. It was also the 1970's and there may have been some marijuana involved.

The Flying Circus is on the Archive:

That'll keep you busy.

As for drugs, they have the same effect on the road as lack of sleep:

It startles me just how flimsy modern vehicles are.

On Wednesday I spent 8 1/2 hours driving 600km after four hours of sleep. No marijuana needed but Redbull got me across the line. I'm getting too old for this shit.

Redbull... we have something much better, if you can call it that: Dare Iced Coffee, that now comes in cans, has a black variety with 200 grams of caffeine. I don't normally drink coffee, grabbed it without reading the label and do you know what my Christmas was like?

I suspect you were unable to sit still and having heart palpitations. I am a regular coffee drinker, though not to excess, and Redbull is a rarity for me that I use only on those long drives.

I have a nice coffee machine, and typically have 3 per day.

2 shots of espresso, 1 shot of ristretto, and some steamed milk x3

St Ali Italo Disco beans. They're ace.

I'm willing to bet Dare wouldn't touch the sides.

My daughter-in-!aw is from Macedonia and when I visit (as I did for four weeks until last Wednesday, hence the long drive) the mornings begin on their patio, even in freezing temperatures, with she and I having a cup of Turkish coffee while she has a cigarette (or four or five).

No heart trouble, as my blood pressure has always been from low in normal range to right on the middle (heart attack isn't an option). I could never be a coffee aficionado, despite two relatives who are. You guessed the rest of course.
