All graffiti should be goats.

We had a guy running around spraying "Pam the bird" on everything for a couple of years. He got busted about a year ago.

If it was a goat we'd have protected him.

He had a habit of doing really risky ones, high pillars above freeways things like that. At the point he did this one below, the authorities had decided they'd had enough of him.

"attributed the works to "Robin Banks" — a play on "robbing banks," later shortened to Banksy."

Took me about 45 minutes but that's because I was watching TV at the same time smiling

I've heard the Massive Attack theory before, years ago. Mezzanine was always one of my favourite albums, but Blue Lines and 100th Window are great too. Yes, I have them all on vinyl (as well as CD) winking
smiley And you call me a hipster..

Interesting read though. I've always been interested in a lot of underground scenes, be it hanging with Cave Clan in Melbourne, raves, graffiti, hacking.. I was always interested in what comes out at night.

Massive Attack touring Australia for the first time in 15 years or something.

I wonder if we'll see a new Banksy?

It got painted over. Very sad. I wonder if he'll do another now it's pretty hard to pretend it wasn't him doing them?

I'd have liked to see Massive Attack. They played Melbourne this week, but didn't think I'd be up to it with my teeth out. Got offered some tickets. Bleet, bloot.

I hate people.
When you are young you deal with it and even enjoy the unpredictable. Then you chase it like that first cherry high. Then you get old.
You want to sit, everyone stands, no worries mate.
Bass makes your balls tingle, great story to tell next day, not that you have a voice or anyone can hear, no worries.
Literally fight to get a taxi at 3am, assuming you win, no worries.
Can't sleep from the Ebenezer Goode, horny, girlfriend fast asleep, sit by yourself and watch rage until 11am, no worries.
Grab your wallet and it is still wet from the night before, including the paper notes, no worries.
(*party*)
I have no regrets but fuck that after 40. Retro bands at a winery with deck chairs and blankets, no worries.

I saw Chemical Brothers at a winery in Geelong a couple of years ago. That was pretty cool.

Saw Rufus Du Sol late last year, though that was at the tennis centre. They were still ace. And Peal Jam at Marvel Stadium when they were here last. Had the Pixies opening for them. Both were ace.

I dunno. I don't mind a concert, but I buy seat tickets these days. Definitely not getting down with the people, because like you; I hate them.

I'm still mid 40s though smiling

Haven't been to a proper rave for yeeeaarrs. Welcome 2003 in Melbourne (NYE 2022) was probably the last, when I flew back from UK for one of my brother's weddings. Was probably also the last time I had pills.

plus613 in this form didn't even exist then. That was the year we made it.

So much of my music knowledge is from watching Rage all night and into the next day..

I'll be 66 next week, never liked crowds and now I actively avoid them. I even do my shopping early in the morning because A: fewer people, B: even though I was a night owl when I was young, 60 fuckin' years of having to get up early for school and work reset my internal clock to usually be up before the sun, and C: it beats the worst of the Florida summer heat.
