At least they didn't paint over the important text etc. Shows some form of respect.

I have no issue with quality graffiti in suitable places, so long as nobody is a dick about anything then great.

The problem is retards with a bag of crayons scribbling on everything with the same level of talent as smearing shit.. which is probably what half of them do.

If there is no outlet then people practice their craft in public.
Remember "Skateboarding is not a crime" t-shirts?
Melbourne responded appropriately many years ago, even made some artists famous (kind of) but some people prefer smearing their own faeces I guess.

I used to skate. Street skating, not pipes etc. My brother used to do half pipe etc.

I was never great at tricks, but I was a solid skater. Used to skate everywhere, early to mid 90s I guess.

Despite growing up on it, if I were to wear a VISION t-shirt these days I'd look like a wannabe. Or having a midlife crisis and trying to recapture my youth. Which would be true. Very sad.

Hahah nice smiling
smiley

Classic deck.

My wife skated too, she actually bought a new skateboard a year or two ago. I doubt she's used it though, I dare say it's the same as me, she'd probably break something immediately like I would winking

Some creepy documentaries about Powell/Peralta.
But the bones brigade sold a LOT of decks.

Dunno about the guys but the decks were nice. This was the Vallely.

It started life as my brother's deck and he got a new one so .. I stole that one smiling
smiley He moved onto maybe a Vision or Santa Cruz or something.

Just looked up Mike Vallely, he ended up skating with Element skateboards and that's what my wife bought. So still kept with his stuff even in modern times.
