The fact of the matter is that Iran never has or never will have the ability to "close the strait".
Insurance companies are the ones who have the ability to close the strait by simply pulling their cover. And they did.
Iran's military were wiped out in 12 hours but seeing as they are fucking terrorists it's not worth risking a suicide bomber on n IRB.
