Sharks.
From 1986 until 2019 I had not canoed or kayaked anywhere other than Florida
when I went to visit family and paddled on a large lake on the northern Georgia,
South Carolina border. No gators or sharks there but I still found myself
scanning my surroundings for gators and fins; it's become a reflex.

I've seen shark fins at the beach. And some playful dolphins. And seals. And
whales in the distance..
Always keep an eye open. Not so many in Victoria, but Australia still gets lots
of shark attacks.

My best day on the water was right here in Charlotte Harbor just a few miles
from home when I happened into a large, slow moving pod of dolphins of all ages
and I was able to keep up with them, surrounded by them, for about an hour and a
half. Usually in the harbor they're alone or in small groups and jet off. It was
summer and hot AF but I forgot all about the heat. I could've stayed with them
longer but I ran out of time and had to turn back. I learned what a dolphin's
breath smells like when one surfaced and blew right beside me; surprisingly it
wasn't fishy or bad at all, lol.

Dolphins probably look at humans and wonder why stupid sharks eat that trash.

Dolphin cutlet eh? I've never seen a dolphin with legs.
But I'm willing to bet I wouldn't like it since I don't eat seafood.. can't and
don't.
It's like swans. You know swans are fucking delicious. In England, eating one
was classified as an act of treason until around 20 years ago. The queen owned
them all.
I lived in a part of England (Aylesbury) near a lake that had a lot of wild
swans, I always wondered if I hit one with my car should I scrape it up and
roast it. Supra killed sacrilicious swan.
Also having lived there, I never pass up an opportunity if I see Aylesbury duck
on the menu. You know one of those fuckers relatives shat on my car.

I bet you saw a lot of English birds you wanted to eat. Nudge, nudge, wink,
wink.

Cutlets as in reference to fish 'cause you know dolphins are near enough.
