This happened every year for like 20 years here until financial problems and COVID shut it down for a few years but the airshow is back though not always with the Blue Angels or the Air Force Thunderbirds who sometimes came. After the first few years the novelty wore off for me and the noise over my house is annoying - the airport is only about 3km away and it's like war zone the days they're here.

I grew up in the Vietnam War/Cold War era near an Air Force Strategic Air Command bomber base and this was over our house several times a day every day. I think my parents must have got a really good deal on the house when they bought it because of it and probably hurt the value when they sold it. It was loud even in the house and it played hell with the TV reception for a minute as they flew over, the TV picture would go crazy.
