Hegseth is obsessed with the crusades and sees this war as his "Christian" duty. It makes him no better than Islamic radicals and worse because he's clueless about how to run a military but in charge of the most powerful one on earth. He and his dumbass boss thought they could just bomb Iran into submission and started a regional war that could spread beyond the region based on a lie and religious fervor. Fuck religion and idiots with power.
