I don't think this is a Peregrine falcon, too much brown... it appears to be a Merlin falcon, or the smallest American falcon, the Kestrel...they are quite similar in color, with the Merlin being slightly larger than the Kestrel...this is the male of the species, as the female has duller plumeage. Also, the Lanner falcon which is slightly smaller than the Peregrine is similar in color....I would like to see a wider view. Amazing animals, all...I used to practice falconry years ago.
