This is actually about halfway down the hole where you go so you can see if the
people in front of you are off the green yet.
The hole is short, but not a par 3, it's a 310 yard par 4 so unless you get
that sand wedge out about 150 yards to catch the steep drop and have it roll all
the way down to the green you might end up a little short.
I hit a half swing on a 5 wood and sent it flying over the green.

i have a knock down sw shot that is good up to 110 yds. from the spot pictured
(about where i would drive to...unless i miss it) it is my shot of choice,
especially with those trees impeding the left side.

The way that hill is angled the only way to roll it to the green and not have
it go off the right side is right down that left edge too, it's a risky
shot.
*edit* my neihbor next door works there in maintenance and he gets me on for
greens fees so it's about half price it normally would be.

i get on free @ one course ($50-75) here and the other is a 20 dollar (cash)
"tip" ($80 track)....wink wink. the second course i've played for 20
years, and know every inch of that puppy. i carry a 12-14 hcp @ the first and a
16 @ the much harder 2nd. although i've been known to shoot a 95-98. it is a
really tough course with lightning fast greens, o.b. and water on every hole,
but not what i wold classify as target golf.

If i remember right i made a double bogey on this hole,i left it twenty yards
short then i got pitcher happy and knocked it over the hole,hit the tree and
ehhhh fuck it im telling any more of my sad story...;(
