That would be pretty cool. Were all the labels in Russian? I've been to a few
aviation and space museums and got to sit some different cockpits. They are
always so much fun. They are all pretty amazing even just to look at.
In the Navy I sat in a whole lot of A7 Corsair II cockpits. Not as a pilot but
as a tech. I even got to sit in one in full tie-downs and crank the the throttle
up to full military (110%) power during some engine/wiring/avionics
vibration/stress testing. Fucking scarey power! It was nothing compared to a lot
of other jets at the time, much less today.

Cavanaugh has 2 of the 6 (i think) fully operational Corsairs in the country,
and they are absolutely beautiful.
the Mig is pretty trashed out, but still cool to sit in.

There's a B-29 on static display at the show. I'd love to get in that. Missed
getting a photo of it in flight the other day, hoping I can get one when it
leaves.

memorial day they always have a Zero being chased by 2 P-40's and a tiger, then
the zero blows out a plume of smoke and dives.

Not long after I moved here I was outside and heard a plane comin over and knew
it waddn the usual Piper or Cessna from just the sound 'cause it was waay
louder. I looked up to see what it was and lo and behold it was a friggin P-51
Mustang! I stood there and watched him till he flew outta sight since I've
always really appreciated those awesome planes.
My B-in-law says there's a local contingent of the Confederate Air Force here
locally and that this cat was one of 'em. The other day I saw another one of
their guys flyin around in some type of WWII era cargo plane but I dunno what it
was. It's awesome to see vintage birds like that boppin around in the local sky
